Welcome to Bearsville, an exceptional and unique event space, sitting on 16 scenic acres in the Catskills but less than 2 hours from New York City. A multi-million-dollar renovation of the property was completed in 2022. Today, Bearsville is renowned both for its leadership in the world of music, and for hosting spectacular and unique events. We offer beautiful locations and state-of-the-art equipment and technology across the Bearsville Campus.
Bearsville Theater is an acoustically-designed world-class auditorium, ideal for indoor conferences and events, private concerts, and video recordings. The adjacent lounge works well for buffet and seated dining, as well break-out sessions, intimate parties, and celebrations. Private facilities include well-appointed dressing rooms, two private VIP rooms and a separate guest kitchen.
Bearsville Park is adjacent to both the Sawkill Creek and our own native woodland. The park can accommodate up to 700 guests for outdoor retreats, fundraisers, and weddings. In a small adjacent area, our streamside Memorial Park is nestled in amongst the sycamore and pine trees, offering a peaceful place for contemplation and remembrances.
The Bear Café is a 66-seater creekside fine-dining restaurant, with remarkable history all the way back to the 1960’s. Former owner Albert Grossman was a gourmet. This restaurant was where he would entertain the music industry and his internationally known musicians. The Bear Café is adjacent to a 40-seater streamside terrace overlooking the water. Both the food and the beverages on offer are superb.
The Utopia Sound Stage is an exclusive club-style venue, perfect for late-night parties, sound and music recordings, or simply a space for presentations, corporate events and fundraisers. Suitable for up to 200 guests, Utopia may be configured in multiple ways to suit your needs.
